The Bumipunco players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Elegant FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Ganix to strike the kick off in the second half. Elegant FC were furious when Aaron Azeari was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Elegant FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bumipunco:s goal. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for Bumipunco. Lorenzo Arias stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Honorato Pabla. 1-2. Mauro Ganix kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Elegant FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Leonides Luke hit a great ball. Aquilino Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Igor Pacorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elegant FC's attentive Victor Serapio managed to snatch the ball when Aaron Orixe made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. Honorato Pabla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Niva in the 75th minute of play. Aristides Suero hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The Bumipunco fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Bumipunco's Marcelo Gaztea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Honorato Pabla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Niva in the 87th minute of play. Teobaldo Hibai made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Elegant FC's Leonides Luke.
