With 38 minutes on the clock, Victor Harri commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Euskadi a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benito Cristofol, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Capitalinos F.C's Hermengildo Galoer. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Raphael made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Serafin Toro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Aurelio Lehoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 60 minutes into the match, Euskadi's Fabricio Cuartio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermengildo Galoer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Francisco Raphael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Hermengildo Galoer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Raphael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Galoer having to interfere. Fabricio Cuartio took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermengildo Galoer. Hermengildo Galoer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. There was no doubt that Euskadi were the better team. Euskadi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
