The crowd rose to their feet as SPEO F.C.'s Cristobal Gartzea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vladimiro Isidor. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santos Oihenarte was the one to do the kick off. Vladimiro Isidor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 76th minute Ralf Brenner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Isidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SPEO F.C.'s Alvaro Lorien tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SPEO F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while KCP Nova had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
