Mo Bing Yang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Sabin Lesnea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabin Lesnea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Galoer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Zeus FC's goalkeeper Mo Bing Yang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Abar. Hermengildo Galoer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Lesnea, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Zeus FC got a corner. Capitalinos F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sabin Lesnea ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zeus FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sabin Lesnea in the 14th minute. A nice corner shot did that Saul Bernard got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hermengildo Galoer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 17th minute Sabin Lesnea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Galoer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabin Lesnea in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermengildo Galoer saved Capitalinos F.C from getting behind. Hermengildo Galoer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan-Alfredo Villagarcia in the 20th minute of play. Simon Mederi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mo Bing Yang having to interfere. When Zeus FC's Sabin Lesnea in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Sabin Lesnea put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hermengildo Galoer. In the 47th minute, Robustiano Panpili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Galoer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Froila, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Mederi made a kick off. Simon Mederi kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Sabin Lesnea hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Sabin Lesnea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermengildo Galoer. Capitalinos F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sabin Lesnea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 70th minute, Sabin Lesnea made a precise shot to the right of Hermengildo Galoer. Capitalinos F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Zeus FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
