Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 125) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Francisco Raphael got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Bumipunco getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Narciso Eskuin hit a great ball. Gilberto Cordero kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Suero during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Teobaldo Hibai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the game, Fabricio Cuartio lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Igor Pacorro. After 27 played minutes Euskadi got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Hori. In the 29th minute, Norberto Niva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Francisco Raphael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Euskadi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Raphael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Pacorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Hori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bumipunco's zone, Melquiades Hori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Pacorro came out of the goal and Melquiades Hori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bumipunco's Igor Pacorro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Bumipunco from getting a goal against them. Aurelio Lehoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Arias in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Jose Adrio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Euskadi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bumipunco the free kick. Jose Adrio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Euskadi's zone, Norberto Niva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Lehoi came out of the goal and Norberto Niva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lorenzo Arias came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Bumipunco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Arias couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The wind increased when Norberto Niva made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Raphael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Igor Pacorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Fabricio Cuartio made a precise shot to the right of Igor Pacorro. Bumipunco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Igor Pacorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Cuartio, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Gilberto Cordero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Euskadi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bumipunco the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Euskadi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Cordero to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Hori took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Pacorro. Igor Pacorro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Igor Pacorro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Raphael went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 78 minutes into the match, Aquiles Bingen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Pacorro. Bumipunco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Bingen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Raphael in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Pacorro saved Bumipunco from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Gilberto Cordero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Melquiades Hori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Raphael in the 89th minute of play forced Bumipunco's goalkeeper Igor Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelino Elorri hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Norberto Niva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the game, Melquiades Hori cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Igor Pacorro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Euskadi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
