Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgard Llope started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Uriel Iturri managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF Leones's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Iturri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Estebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remigio Estebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Sugoi in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Antonio Evarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match Jaime Lugo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remigio Estebe skillfully saved the ball. Jaime Lugo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Edgard Llope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benicio Tonete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Telmo having to interfere. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind CF Leones's goalkeeper Eliseo Telmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Colibries's Benicio Tonete got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CF Leones's Eliseo Telmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Llope in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, CF Leones's Mariano Bazil got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roque Guib to make the kick off. Benicio Tonete struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Eliseo Telmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Colibries. Benicio Tonete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uriel Iturri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benicio Tonete struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Eliseo Telmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Colibries. Eliseo Telmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to CF Leones getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Timoteo Sugoi hit a great ball. Eliseo Telmo came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Colibries's Edgard Llope. But to his dismay, Edgard Llope quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Edgard Llope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Benicio Tonete managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Colibries's supporters rose to their feet, but Benicio Tonete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 78 played minutes CF Leones got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Sugoi. 86 minutes into the match, CF Leones's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Tonete came free, but Eliseo Telmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Telmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Llope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Iturri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Remigio Estebe made a huge save. After some careless play in the CF Leones defense, Edgard Llope kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseo Telmo. The CF Leones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseo Telmo should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Colibries had played much better football throughout.
