In the 16th match minute, Atletico Aztlan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Bastian to maneuver through the defense. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atletico Aztlan! The audience was convinced that Natalio Terciero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Salamon was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. With 28 minutes on the clock, Isaias Toro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 68th minute Vladimiro Rudolfo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 70th match minute, Deivis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Fagondo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 72 minutes, Laureano Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deivis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Rufio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 74 in the game by Natalio Terciero from a close distance when the talented Santiago Salamon managed to make a qualified save. Deivis FC's players were relieved. With his leg Santiago Salamon managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Atletico Aztlan's Natalio Terciero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Jacobo Fagondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Terciero did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Santiago Salamon 87 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Natalio Terciero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Deivis FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Natalio Terciero fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 95th match minute, Deivis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Patrido to maneuver through the defense. The Deivis FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atletico Aztlan's performance. The match ended with a win for Atletico Aztlan.
