Spectators: 7470 (Terracing: 5970, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ismael Morceli got the match started through his kick off. Victorio Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Evelio Atauri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gus Brook went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gus Brook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Evelio Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Chipiscú got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Ilazki. After a defensive mix-up in Chipiscú's zone, Gus Brook stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Atauri came out of the goal and Gus Brook tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ismael Morceli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorio Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Gus Brook cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Evelio Atauri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, Chipiscú's goalkeeper Evelio Atauri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by German Aires. In the 45th minute, Gus Brook ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evelio Atauri was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gus Brook was the one to do the kick off. Marcelo Ilazki struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Lisandro Urti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chipiscú. When Ismael Morceli came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Chipiscú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Morceli couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute Marcelo Ilazki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Urti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Ismael Morceli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chipiscú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Morceli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelo Ilazki might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lisandro Urti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Ilazki ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelo Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Urti having to interfere. Malargüe FC's Victorio Gau got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chipiscú's Evelio Atauri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gus Brook in the 66th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Malargüe FC's corner Nemesio Argina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Evelio Atauri quite easily take care of the ball. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chipiscú's goalkeeper Evelio Atauri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If German Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gus Brook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Evelio Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gus Brook sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Aires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evelio Atauri having to make a save. Evelio Atauri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gus Brook, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Gonzalo Merexildo in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Morceli during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Ismael Morceli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gus Brook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Evelio Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gus Brook had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Malargüe FC had won after a very even match.
