After a rather tough play, Real Dorado Acapulco's Benedicto Mogel got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Robustiano Quico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wojciech Parajewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mickey Beckwith having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Abelardo Umea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mickey Beckwith. Irreverentes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Umea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Robustiano Quico's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Nathaniel Izzo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mickey Beckwith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Umea, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 38 played minutes, Irreverentes's Narciso Patxi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nathaniel Izzo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Irreverentes reached it. Real Dorado Acapulco's Wojciech Parajewski got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mickey Beckwith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abelardo Umea made a kick off. If Abelardo Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Quico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathaniel Izzo having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Delmiro Montay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nathaniel Izzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the game, Robustiano Quico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Irreverentes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Dorado Acapulco the free kick. After 66 played minutes Irreverentes got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Quico. 72 minutes into the match, Real Dorado Acapulco's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Quico came free, but Nathaniel Izzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Mickey Beckwith managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Real Dorado Acapulco's Abelardo Umea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 81st minute, Leandro Baumar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wojciech Parajewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickey Beckwith having to interfere. If Wojciech Parajewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Ivan Tabby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Dorado Acapulco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Tabby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abelardo Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mickey Beckwith made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Wojciech Parajewski sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Real Dorado Acapulco players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
