Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5550, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 150) Roque Guib started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Uriel Iturri might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evelio Atauri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uriel Iturri ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute Roque Guib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes Chipiscú's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Lugo who took care of the corner kick. CF Leones's Jaime Lugo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Evelio Atauri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of CF Leones booed when Chipiscú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Ilazki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evelio Atauri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Guib, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Uriel Iturri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chipiscú's Evelio Atauri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Guib in the 29th minute of play forced Chipiscú's goalkeeper Evelio Atauri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chipiscú's Ismael Morceli got a free kick in the 30th minute. Marcelo Ilazki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eliseo Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, CF Leones's Roque Guib nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evelio Atauri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Roque Guib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Evelio Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Timoteo Sugoi came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the CF Leones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Sugoi couldn't finish the play. Evelio Atauri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Guib in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute Roque Guib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half CF Leones were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ismael Morceli to make the kick off. Ismael Morceli struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Eliseo Telmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chipiscú. In the 53rd minute, Ismael Morceli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismael Morceli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basilio Florin charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basilio Florin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Basilio Florin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Roque Guib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Atauri having to interfere. Basilio Florin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Uriel Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evelio Atauri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Guib in the 70th minute of play. Ismael Morceli might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseo Telmo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Morceli ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the match, CF Leones's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Morceli came free, but Eliseo Telmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Morceli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Eliseo Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CF Leones's zone, Ismael Morceli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Telmo came out of the goal and Ismael Morceli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ismael Morceli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Morceli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Eliseo Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Marcelo Ilazki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Telmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Morceli in the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ismael Morceli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chipiscú's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Morceli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Telmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ismael Morceli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CF Leones's Eliseo Telmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Morceli in the 92nd minute of play. Although Chipiscú had been in control for most of the match, CF Leones still came away with the win.
