The referee ignored Selvas FC's protests and gave Epifanio Hulberto a yellow card for diving instead. Selvas FC's Armando Lapurdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Toli in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Arsenal Aguila got a corner. Selvas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jesus Elixio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Selvas FC's goalie and right to Domingo Bras. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Selvas FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 29 minutes into the match, Selvas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Elixio came free, but Armando Lapurdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenal Aguila's Carolo Mark got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danilo Toli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Armando Lapurdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carolo Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Lapurdi having to interfere. It was a penalty for Arsenal Aguila! Arsenal Aguila:s Americo Fertus showed great skill when he stopped Casimiro Atarratze:s penalty. With a little luck, Selvas FC's Armando Lapurdi got control of the ball when Carolo Mark tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Carolo Mark dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Armando Lapurdi, 0-2.
