Benedicto Gomez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Bayezit Özgurel made a huge save. Estudiantes de Puebla's Leo Casado got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Macha's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Casado came free, but Bayezit Özgurel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Feliu struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Bayezit Özgurel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de Puebla. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Casado in the 25th minute of play forced Macha's goalkeeper Bayezit Özgurel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes de Puebla's zone, Iker Indartsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Satordi came out of the goal and Iker Indartsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 played minutes Macha got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Tonio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Casado got free with Bayezit Özgurel in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de Puebla's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Indartsu came free, but Nereo Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Estudiantes de Puebla's Leo Casado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bayezit Özgurel. Bayezit Özgurel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Benedicto Gomez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Bayezit Özgurel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 46 minutes into the game, Leo Casado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bayezit Özgurel. Leo Casado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Leo Casado made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Macha's zone, Benedicto Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bayezit Özgurel came out of the goal and Benedicto Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Casado in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bayezit Özgurel saved Macha from getting behind. Leo Casado took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bayezit Özgurel. Bayezit Özgurel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 68 minutes into the game, Joaquin Feliu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Bayezit Özgurel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Estudiantes de Puebla's Adolfo Tavio was substituted for Delmar Baumar. Estudiantes de Puebla made a substitution. Rodolfo Donostia replaced Joaquin Feliu. The supporters of Estudiantes de Puebla booed when Macha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Tonio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nereo Satordi made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Gonzalo Tonio sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Celino in the 81st minute of play forced Macha's goalkeeper Bayezit Özgurel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Leo Casado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bayezit Özgurel was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Estudiantes de Puebla's Rodolfo Donostia got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Donostia in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bayezit Özgurel saved Macha from getting behind. Bayezit Özgurel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Isaias Bladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayezit Özgurel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rodolfo Donostia came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Estudiantes de Puebla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Donostia couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Estudiantes de Puebla fully deserved thier win.
