Spectators: 8180 (Terracing: 6137, Seating: 1881, VIP seats: 162) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alberto Di Massimo started the match with the kick off. Estudiantes de Puebla's Joaquin Feliu got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aureliano Castulo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Casado's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Alberto Di Massimo scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Satordi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de Puebla's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Arioli came free, but Nereo Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, CANIS LUPUS XTC's Dino Arioli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nereo Satordi. Nereo Satordi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Casado in the 33rd minute of play forced CANIS LUPUS XTC's goalkeeper Aureliano Castulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Celino made a great header on Estudiantes de Puebla's corner, it was just that CANIS LUPUS XTC's Aureliano Castulo managed to reach the ball for a save. Aureliano Castulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, CANIS LUPUS XTC's Dino Arioli got a free kick in the 41st minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Leo Casado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Aureliano Castulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Castulo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fulgencio Christobal. If Leo Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Casado in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aureliano Castulo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 67thth minute of the game Alberto Di Massimo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes de Puebla's Nereo Satordi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute, Joaquin Feliu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 72 played minutes Estudiantes de Puebla got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Donostia. Jesus Lobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of CANIS LUPUS XTC booed when Estudiantes de Puebla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Matia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Di Massimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Satordi having to interfere. Leo Casado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Celino kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Di Massimo in the 89th minute of play forced Estudiantes de Puebla's goalkeeper Nereo Satordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Rodolfo Donostia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CANIS LUPUS XTC's Aureliano Castulo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CANIS LUPUS XTC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
