El Chavo del 8 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guayacó FC the free kick. In the 10th minute, Ildefonso Rozarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, El Chavo del 8 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Maura came free, but Evaristo Patxi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Patxi made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Herminio Hotz sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, El Chavo del 8 FC's Gaspar Lope got a free kick in the 18th minute. El Chavo del 8 FC's Ildefonso Rozarius managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aldo Naelio in the 24 minute of the game. Herminio Hotz took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Patxi. Evaristo Patxi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Sixto Leoiar came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Guayacó FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Leoiar couldn't finish the play. If Herminio Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, El Chavo del 8 FC's Esteve Libertad got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute, Herminio Hotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, El Chavo del 8 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Pero to maneuver through the defense. When Sixto Leoiar came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Guayacó FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Leoiar couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Licerio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Herminio Hotz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Patxi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 63rd minute Herminio Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Patxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ildefonso Rozarius got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, El Chavo del 8 FC's Ildefonso Rozarius got a free kick in the 64th minute. Herminio Hotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dario Abalos's late challenge caught a El Chavo del 8 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Abalos helped the player get up and apologised. Evaristo Patxi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herminio Hotz went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Herminio Hotz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Licerio during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes El Chavo del 8 FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Licerio. Herminio Hotz might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Patxi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herminio Hotz ran back to his position shaking his head. Elias Cedro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Evaristo Patxi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixto Leoiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Patxi having to interfere. Guayacó FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
