In the 11th match minute, Yatai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Dorio to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Yatai's Cipriano Ursino got control of the ball when Eulalio Astigar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eulalio Astigar in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cipriano Ursino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Yatai's Gaudencio Argoitz got a free kick in the 19th minute. Domingos Erdiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltasar Dalmu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Astigar struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Cipriano Ursino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monterrey Titanes. Severo Errando charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severo Errando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severo Errando hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eulalio Astigar in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cipriano Ursino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Yatai's zone, Domingos Erdiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Ursino came out of the goal and Domingos Erdiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Yatai getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Bruno Endira hit a great ball.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Astigar in the 52nd minute of play forced Yatai's goalkeeper Cipriano Ursino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th match minute, Monterrey Titanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Gilen to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Endira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Abeita having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eulalio Astigar in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Ursino saved Yatai from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Astigar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cipriano Ursino was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. If Felipe Beremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
