The supporters of Tacoyoj FC booed when Pipinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Ferran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pipinas's Teodosio Ler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Marino in the 23rd minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Madaleno to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Camilo Ferran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pipinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Ferran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Urko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Tobias Todor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodosio Ler. Pipinas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobias Todor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. When Camilo Ferran came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Pipinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Ferran couldn't finish the play. After 86 played minutes Tacoyoj FC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Abancens.
