The crowd rose to their feet as Lucio Frascuelo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorge Havier. That made the score 2-1 in the 37 minute of play. A collision led to Vanguardia AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Isidoro Ferdinand hit a great ball. If Cayetano Lalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, DonDimadon's Teo Florian got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Cayetano Lalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jorge Havier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Havier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Lalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
