Spectators: 6836 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 0) Ibarlucea's Hermengildo Gotzon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Esteve Elodio scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Havier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Vanguardia AFC's Niceto Neto got a free kick in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vanguardia AFC's zone, Gaspar Castel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Havier came out of the goal and Gaspar Castel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Havier came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibarlucea's Mauro Caitano. But to his dismay, Mauro Caitano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mauro Caitano took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Havier. Jorge Havier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Vanguardia AFC's Jorge Havier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Castel in the 31st minute of play. Jorge Havier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermengildo Gotzon's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the Ibarlucea defense, Eustaquio Jurgi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elpidio Etxepare. The Ibarlucea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Etxepare should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Ibarlucea's Esteve Elodio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Havier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mateo Furtado to strike the kick off in the second half. Mauro Caitano struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jorge Havier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibarlucea. Hermengildo Gotzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Havier having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Caitano in the 63rd minute of play forced Vanguardia AFC's goalkeeper Jorge Havier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Caitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Havier having to interfere. Eustaquio Jurgi's late challenge caught a Ibarlucea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Jurgi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Norberto Eutor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Hermengildo Gotzon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Havier was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Ibarlucea's Hermengildo Gotzon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorge Havier. Jorge Havier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Ibarlucea played a much better game than Vanguardia AFC and deserved their victory. The Vanguardia AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
