Oscar Loi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 30 minutes, Placido Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italia Resurrección's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Azubeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Chaves U21's Arnaldo Crescencio got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 34 played minutes Chaves U21 got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Cidro. After 80 played minutes Chaves U21 got a freekick which was hit by Guido Fernanco. In the 81st minute, Edgard Aznar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oscar Loi made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Placido Azubeli sent off a good shot on target. Oscar Loi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Rameriz's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Medero Aballe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaves U21's supporters rose to their feet, but Medero Aballe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Firmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Italia Resurrección's Oscar Loi threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cornelio Ofelio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match was over Italia Resurrección could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chaves U21 throughout the match.
