Venancio Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Andreasson having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Rolando Theodore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavio Galtero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Halit Ziya Emekli went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rogue Squadron were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Puebla de la Franja F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aloísio Romero took the corner. 36 minutes into the game, Rogue Squadron's Dudu Rossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Galtero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 39 minutes, Dudu Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rogue Squadron and the Puebla de la Franja F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Puebla de la Franja F.C. booed when Rogue Squadron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Delmiro Itzaina fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puebla de la Franja F.C.'s protests and gave Delmiro Itzaina a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Jakes in the 61st minute of play forced Rogue Squadron's goalkeeper Thomas Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Halit Ziya Emekli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flavio Galtero was a little too slow when Halit Ziya Emekli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-3. After a rather tough play, Rogue Squadron's Albino Erlantz got a free kick in the 79th minute. A collision led to Puebla de la Franja F.C. getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Santos Jakes hit a great ball. Patricio Teofilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Flavio Galtero made a huge save. Puebla de la Franja F.C.'s Flavio Galtero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halit Ziya Emekli in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halit Ziya Emekli got free with Flavio Galtero in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Halit Ziya Emekli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Galtero having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Dudu Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rogue Squadron's supporters rose to their feet, but Dudu Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Galtero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
