Mario Gamus came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaguars Veracruz's Delmar Artaldo. But to his dismay, Delmar Artaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Smith AFC's Mario Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Acevedo in the 18th minute of play. Fidel Txurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 楚奕岚, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Leonel Hodei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mario Gamus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Mario Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Chano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Hodei, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Jaguars Veracruz's Fidel Txurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 楚奕岚 in the 27th minute of play. Smith AFC's Mario Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Hodei in the 31st minute of play. If Justo Gorka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Jaguars Veracruz booed when Smith AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Gorka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Furkan Sağbilge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fidel Txurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 楚奕岚 in the 44th minute of play forced Jaguars Veracruz's goalkeeper Fidel Txurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th play minute Furkan Sağbilge came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fidel Txurio. 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Chano to make the kick off. A collision led to Smith AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Justo Gorka hit a great ball. Fidel Txurio came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Smith AFC's 楚奕岚. But to his dismay, 楚奕岚 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 66th minute, Jaguars Veracruz's Pablo Acevedo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Mario Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Hodei, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Pablo Acevedo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mario Gamus came out and tried to block the shot, but Pablo Acevedo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 79th minute. Tomás Chano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mario Gamus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Gamus made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Leonel Hodei sent off a good shot on target. Mario Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Hodei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Justo Gorka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Smith AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaguars Veracruz the free kick. After a rather tough play, Smith AFC's Justo Gorka got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Fidel Txurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 楚奕岚, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Jaguars Veracruz played a much better game than Smith AFC and deserved their victory. The Smith AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
