Spectators: 8450 (Terracing: 6353, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 150) Guanaco FC's Francisco Fertus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Guanaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Fertus. 4 minutes into the match, Alfredo Ugutz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Bastia. Guanaco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Ugutz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 8th minute, Roque Savion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Bastia was a little too slow when Adolfo Monzon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 2-0. Abel Bastia made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Libardo Cabrera sent off a good shot on target. Blas Kemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Noyola having to interfere. Libardo Cabrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Abel Bastia made a huge save. After 18 minutes of play, Cañete AFC's Pedro Nazario made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Bastia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guanaco FC's Abel Bastia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Guanaco FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilano Demesio got free with Abel Bastia in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Guanaco FC booed when Cañete AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Ugutz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Adolfo Monzon made a precise shot to the right of Abel Bastia. Guanaco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 39th minute Cañete AFC were awarded a corner. Godfredo Usarralde went to the cornerflag to take it. Atilano Demesio made a great header on Cañete AFC's corner, it was just that Guanaco FC's Abel Bastia managed to reach the ball for a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Libardo Cabrera to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Guanaco FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Silvio Lugo hit a great ball. After 55 minutes, Francisco Fertus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guanaco FC and the Cañete AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Guanaco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Fertus to maneuver through the defense. Abel Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Demesio in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Adolfo Monzon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Abel Bastia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Cañete AFC's Godfredo Usarralde got a free kick in the 64th minute. Abel Bastia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolfo Monzon's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Abel Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Demesio in the 70th minute of play. Abel Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Monzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cañete AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Francisco Fertus scored to the left of an out of position Victor Noyola, making the score, 8-1. After 89 minutes of play, Cañete AFC's Adolfo Monzon made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Bastia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Cañete AFC's Victorino Gaitano got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Abel Bastia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Demesio, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Cañete AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
