Attilio Ferrini came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Steelares FC's Nicasio Barea. But to his dismay, Nicasio Barea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Mouricio in the 6th minute of play forced Steelares FC's goalkeeper Eloy Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Odon in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Gartxot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Silvano Odon, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eloy Gartxot was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Attilio Ferrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 30 minutes on the clock, Fabricio Ganix commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Fabricio Ganix hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. AMG Petronas FC's Anastasio Izel got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Steelares FC's Nicasio Barea got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Blas Bernabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Fernan Ur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blas Bernabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Ferrini having to interfere. Steelares FC's Eloy Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Mouricio in the 46th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AMG Petronas FC's Leonardo Tartalo got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeo Marcones to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Marcones in the 53rd minute of play forced AMG Petronas FC's goalkeeper Attilio Ferrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, AMG Petronas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Bernabel came free, but Attilio Ferrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attilio Ferrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Florinio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AMG Petronas FC's Attilio Ferrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Marcones in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, AMG Petronas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Adrio came free, but Attilio Ferrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Marcones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Attilio Ferrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Amadeo Marcones had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Attilio Ferrini. AMG Petronas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeo Marcones was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Attilio Ferrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Marcones in the 79th minute of play. Amadeo Marcones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Olaf Michnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, AMG Petronas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Michnik to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Amadeo Marcones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the game, AMG Petronas FC's Silvano Odon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eloy Gartxot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Steelares FC's Blas Bernabel got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute of the match, Gogo Mouricio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eloy Gartxot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. For all the effort they put into the match, the AMG Petronas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Steelares FC.
