An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Valery in the 14th minute of play forced Cañete AFC's goalkeeper Victor Noyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Vojtěch Lidman put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Victor Noyola. A hard shot 20 in the game by Atilano Demesio from a close distance when the talented Ciro Santo managed to make a qualified save. Victor Noyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vojtěch Lidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Cañete AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Yasen Chovanski came free, but Victor Noyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. América's Ciro Santo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save América from getting a goal against them. Libardo Cabrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ciro Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chants of América echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Cañete AFC had held the ball for most of the match.
