In the 7th minute Gogo Mouricio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Artaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AMG Petronas FC's Attilio Ferrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Neron in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pampita FC's zone, Olaf Michnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Artaldo came out of the goal and Olaf Michnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th match minute, AMG Petronas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Izel to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olaf Michnik got free with Anastasio Artaldo in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anastasio Artaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Michnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Artaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olaf Michnik in the 30th minute. Pampita FC's Anastasio Artaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Mouricio in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Pampita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Mouricio came free, but Anastasio Artaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pampita FC's Anastasio Artaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Pampita FC from getting a goal against them. Gogo Mouricio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Anastasio Artaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pampita FC's Anastasio Artaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Pampita FC from getting a goal against them. Anastasio Artaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Michnik in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Neron was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Silvano Odon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AMG Petronas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Anastasio Artaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Mouricio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Lano in the 56th minute of play forced Pampita FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Artaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Gogo Mouricio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Anastasio Artaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Leonardo Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Odon in the 95th minute of play forced Pampita FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Artaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
