After 17 minutes, Filip Slipetskyi made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Larroude's Efrain Joanes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vaggelis Rousses received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Efrain Joanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Larroude's Efrain Joanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Slipetskyi in the 20th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, deportivo madrid's Filip Slipetskyi made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efrain Joanes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Filip Slipetskyi sped through Larroude's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Efrain Joanes. Larroude's Efrain Joanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Slipetskyi in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Perico in the 36th minute of play forced Larroude's goalkeeper Efrain Joanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lúcio Maldini came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the deportivo madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Maldini couldn't finish the play. But to his dismay, Marcelo Perico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. 47 minutes into the match, Filip Slipetskyi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Efrain Joanes. Larroude's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filip Slipetskyi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. After the first half deportivo madrid were leading 0-11. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filip Slipetskyi to strike the kick off in the second half. Hasan Tahsin Polatalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Efrain Joanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hasan Tahsin Polatalp came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the deportivo madrid fans jumped to their feet. After some careless play in the Larroude defense, Marcelo Perico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Joanes. The Larroude fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Joanes should have stopped the shot. Amancio Ignado hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. deportivo madrid's Hasan Tahsin Polatalp shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Efrain Joanes but with some difficulty. 71 minutes into the match, Larroude's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Quin came free, but Efrain Joanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Larroude's Efrain Joanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Maldini in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Alfonso Quin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Efrain Joanes, 0-14. 84 minutes into the game, Godfredo Thomas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-15. Efrain Joanes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Efrain Joanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as deportivo madrid's Alfonso Quin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Efrain Joanes. That made the score 0-16 after 89 minutes of play. Marcelo Perico hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Lúcio Maldini reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Efrain Joanes. The goal made the score 0-17. When the match was over deportivo madrid could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Larroude throughout the match.
