After a rather tough play, Zapotecos FC's Tobias Pes got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Tobias Pes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zacarias Mede got free with Alvaro Txartiko in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the game, Tobias Pes lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Alvaro Txartiko. Zapotecos FC's Casimiro Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Gergori in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute, Zapotecos FC's Tobias Pes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 30th minute, Godofredo Oskitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes, Marciano Ruy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rayos GDL and the Zapotecos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rayos GDL getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Marciano Ruy hit a great ball. A hard shot 42 in the game by Tobias Pes from a close distance when the talented Alvaro Txartiko managed to make a qualified save. Rayos GDL's players were relieved. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobias Pes made a kick off. Zacarias Mede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tobias Pes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tobias Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Rayos GDL defense, Orlando Beila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Txartiko. The Rayos GDL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Txartiko should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the game, Orlando Beila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Alvaro Txartiko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Zapotecos FC's Tobias Pes in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rayos GDL's goalie prevented a goal. If Tobias Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, Atilano Cordareo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 minutes, Tobias Pes made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rayos GDL's Alvaro Txartiko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Romulo Vimaro struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Alvaro Txartiko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zapotecos FC. Zapotecos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
