Gilberto Flor hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Pes in the 8th minute of play forced RASTAMAN FC's goalkeeper Eustacio Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes, Samuel Illart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RASTAMAN FC and the Zapotecos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes RASTAMAN FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Illart. 13 minutes into the match, RASTAMAN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Vimaro came free, but Eustacio Vigil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Illart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Zapotecos FC's zone, Mauro Chorache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Reyes came out of the goal and Mauro Chorache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, RASTAMAN FC's Mauro Chorache sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casimiro Reyes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Samuel Illart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zacarias Mede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Tobias Pes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eustacio Vigil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 35 minutes into the game, Zapotecos FC's Tobias Pes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eustacio Vigil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobias Pes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Casimiro Reyes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. RASTAMAN FC's Wiliam Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romulo Vimaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Eustacio Vigil made a huge save. 56 minutes into the match, RASTAMAN FC's goalkeeper Eustacio Vigil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Pes. Zapotecos FC made a substitution. Orlando Beila replaced Zacarias Mede. 66 minutes into the game, Severino Velasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Casimiro Reyes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, Zapotecos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Chorache came free, but Casimiro Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Vigil having to interfere. After a rather tough play, RASTAMAN FC's Augusto Monte got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes Zapotecos FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Laurin. Mauro Chorache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When RASTAMAN FC's Wiliam Lucas in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zapotecos FC's goalie prevented a goal. 78 minutes into the match, RASTAMAN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Beila came free, but Eustacio Vigil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Velasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casimiro Reyes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severino Velasco ran back to his position shaking his head. Casimiro Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Illart, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Pes got free with Eustacio Vigil in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. RASTAMAN FC's Mauro Chorache got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Samuel Illart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casimiro Reyes. Zapotecos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Illart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 94th minute, Orlando Beila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, RASTAMAN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Pes came free, but Eustacio Vigil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zapotecos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
