In the 10th minute Florentino Dominix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Otoniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Dominix in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Blas Otoniel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tomás Pepillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Federigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorato Ramos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Blas Otoniel firmly grabbed it by the left post. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tordos de Huejutla's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edgard Mendiko was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo de Coba's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Edgard Mendiko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tordos de Huejutla's Blas Otoniel did a great save. After 36 played minutes Deportivo de Coba got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Teodor. With a little luck, Tordos de Huejutla's Blas Otoniel got control of the ball when Florentino Dominix tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 40 minutes Tordos de Huejutla's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgard Mendiko who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Deportivo de Coba's Edgard Mendiko to fire away a dangerous shot which Blas Otoniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florentino Dominix to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Tordos de Huejutla's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Dominix came free, but Blas Otoniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Pepillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Federigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Deportivo de Coba's Tomás Pepillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo de Coba from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Florentino Dominix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo de Coba's Tomás Pepillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Federigo in the 67th minute of play. Tomás Pepillo was a little too slow when Joel Federigo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-1. Americo Guillen hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Tomás Pepillo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peter Unesson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 86 minute of play. In the 93rd minute Florentino Dominix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Otoniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tordos de Huejutla's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
