Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Teofilo Quilo made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Milan! In the 8th minute Teofilo Quilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Claus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubaldo Argider in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remigio Onbera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Milan's Victorino Claus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Milan from getting a goal against them. Nunez Pabla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Victorino Claus made a huge save. When Ubaldo Argider came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Argider couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, Milan's Adrian Hustaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigio Onbera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Remigio Onbera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Romo went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute of the match, Teofilo Quilo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victorino Claus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Milan's zone, Elvio Urdin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Claus came out of the goal and Elvio Urdin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorino Claus made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Nunez Pabla sent off a good shot on target. Elvio Urdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Victorino Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Teofilo Quilo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zonet and the Milan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nunez Pabla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigio Onbera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Argider in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute of the match, Teofilo Quilo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victorino Claus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ubaldo Argider made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Isidoro Eneko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milan's Victorino Claus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Milan's Victorino Claus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Urdin in the 58th minute of play. Ubaldo Argider blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Onbera having to make a save. Remigio Onbera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Tulio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zonet's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Saturnino Bordat was slow to take the kick. During this time Milan's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Milan's Severiano Tulio getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Argider had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigio Onbera. Zonet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ubaldo Argider was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Zonet's Remigio Onbera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Argider in the 81st minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, Milan's Severiano Tulio made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Onbera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Romo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Remigio Onbera made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Saturnino Bordat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ubaldo Argider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Milan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Milan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
