The Futbol Club Sonora fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rodrigo Beturian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Madaleno in the 18th minute of the match. Franciszek Perkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Ugaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Beturian came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Futbol Club Sonora's Marcos Cordarin. But to his dismay, Marcos Cordarin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ruperto Ugaitz charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Ugaitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Realsamesta getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ruperto Ugaitz hit a great ball. Futbol Club Sonora's Honorio Madaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Beturian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Cordarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Ruperto Ugaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Beturian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Cordarin's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 32 minutes, Marcos Cordarin made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Realsamesta's Rodrigo Beturian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Futbol Club Sonora's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Olivar came free, but Franciszek Perkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Beturian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Madaleno in the 39th minute of the match. Rodrigo Beturian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Sidoro in the 42nd minute of play. Franciszek Perkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Chago in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Christian Olivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franciszek Perkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Igon to make the kick off. Lucas Igon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcos Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Realsamesta's Rodrigo Beturian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Realsamesta from getting a goal against them. If Marcos Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Salvator received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodrigo Beturian came out and tried to block the shot, but Romeo Salvator slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 66th minute. Franciszek Perkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Olivar in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Arnulfo Chago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franciszek Perkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Realsamesta's Rodrigo Beturian got control of the ball when Lucas Igon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 played minutes Realsamesta got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Vela. Lucas Igon came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodrigo Beturian could save by the left post. Lucas Igon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rodrigo Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Realsamesta booed when Futbol Club Sonora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Olivar spun around in front of the goal 88 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Futbol Club Sonora's goal. After 89 played minutes Futbol Club Sonora got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Conrao. After having played for 96 minutes, Romeo Salvator managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futbol Club Sonora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Salvator was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Futbol Club Sonora left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Realsamesta.
