But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Evis couldn't finish the play. Desiderio Peyo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Perez went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Desiderio Peyo came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gatitos del infierno's Freddy Evis. But to his dismay, Freddy Evis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Leonardo Tabby fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gatitos del infierno's protests and gave Leonardo Tabby a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, Gatitos del infierno's Desiderio Peyo threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Perez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Freddy Evis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Carranza's zone, Luis Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Peyo came out of the goal and Luis Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gatitos del infierno's Luis Perez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Desiderio Peyo. That made the score 4-0 after 48 minutes of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruy Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. Desiderio Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Perez in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Carranza booed when Gatitos del infierno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Lia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruy Neves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Segundo Gonza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Carranza's Ruy Neves got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Carranza booed when Gatitos del infierno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Tabby didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Freddy Evis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gatitos del infierno's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Evis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Peyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiliano Fresco kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Gatitos del infierno's Luis Perez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Peyo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Freddy Evis struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Desiderio Peyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gatitos del infierno. Gatitos del infierno's Segundo Gonza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Gatitos del infierno from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Freddy Evis sped through Carranza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Desiderio Peyo. Gatitos del infierno walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
