Franciszek Perkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Quilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Zonet's Elvio Urdin in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Futbol Club Sonora booed when Zonet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Antonio Jurgi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Futbol Club Sonora's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Jurgi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Onbera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the game, Antonio Jurgi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Remigio Onbera. Antonio Jurgi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Futbol Club Sonora's goalkeeper Franciszek Perkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Futbol Club Sonora! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvio Urdin got free with Franciszek Perkowski in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Franciszek Perkowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Elvio Urdin could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Franciszek Perkowski however easily saved by the left post. Franciszek Perkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Quilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Lucas Igon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gavino Cheche fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zonet's protests and gave Gavino Cheche a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Zonet getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Gavino Cheche hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Lucas Igon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigio Onbera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Franciszek Perkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Quilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Isidoro Eneko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Franciszek Perkowski. The goal made the score 4-4. 97 minutes into the game, Teofilo Quilo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franciszek Perkowski. Teofilo Quilo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zonet had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
