The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Raimundo Guimarães made a precise shot to the right of Lucian Militaru. Real Botana F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Raimundo Guimarães sped through Real Botana F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucian Militaru. Lucian Militaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Guimarães in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Real Botana F.C.'s Jorge Balesio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atilano Benat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dromes FC's Jack Grealish got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Elvio Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Raimundo Guimarães notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Real Botana F.C.'s Lucian Militaru. Lucian Militaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucian Militaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Guimarães went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Grealish in the 22nd minute of play forced Real Botana F.C.'s goalkeeper Lucian Militaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Raimundo Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's Raimundo Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucian Militaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Raimundo Guimarães had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucian Militaru. Real Botana F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Guimarães was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 33 minutes into the game, Dromes FC's Raimundo Guimarães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucian Militaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Raimundo Guimarães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucian Militaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Dromes FC's Jack Grealish got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Botana F.C.'s goalkeeper Lucian Militaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Real Botana F.C.'s Ferrer Olloqui got a free kick in the 45th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorio Mero was the one to do the kick off. Lucian Militaru stood somewhat misplaced when Raimundo Guimarães came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 52 minute. 56 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's Raimundo Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucian Militaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dromes FC's Raimundo Guimarães was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 57th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Raimundo Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Militaru having to interfere. Raimundo Guimarães might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucian Militaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Guimarães ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucian Militaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Dromes FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jimmy Wiley hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Elvio Vito sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dromes FC's Atilano Benat didn't even have to move. In the 69th minute, Raimundo Guimarães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Dromes FC's Humberto Lleir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucian Militaru. That made the score 0-9 after 79 minutes of play. In the 84th minute, Dromes FC's Humberto Lleir ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucian Militaru. Lucian Militaru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. After 89th play minutes Humberto Lleir shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Lucian Militaru and just under the crossbar into goal. Jack Grealish scored 0-12 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucian Militaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jimmy Wiley came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Dromes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmy Wiley couldn't finish the play. Dromes FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
