Jorge Cordario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jorge Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Favila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blas Estevez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Ildefonso Karmel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Evangelista in the 9th minute. In the 14th match minute, Los Muñes de Don Cuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Obeko to maneuver through the defense. Blas Estevez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Abaurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Jorge Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ildefonso Karmel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Cordario in the 23rd minute of the match. Blas Estevez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Abaurre in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Jorge Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blas Estevez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Favila in the 44th minute of the match. If Eugenio Evangelista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Natalio Abaurre made the kick off in the second half. Natalio Abaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Blas Estevez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Cordario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Ildefonso Karmel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Muñes de Don Cuco. If Jorge Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Eugenio Evangelista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Evangelista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Karmel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Natalio Abaurre fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 96thth minute of the game Natalio Abaurre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Blas Estevez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The juarez supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing juarez would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
