Leszek Ziombkowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 15th minute, Octavio Urtsin made a precise shot to the right of David Madureira. Gonz FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Giménez in the 18th minute of play forced Gonz FC's goalkeeper David Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Santiago Giménez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Madureira was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Leszek Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvatore Schillaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Giménez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Piorno in the 41st minute of play forced Gonz FC's goalkeeper David Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Giménez in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Santiago Giménez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Madureira. Gonz FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago Giménez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.

The wind increased when Salvatore Schillaci made the kick off in the second half. Santiago Giménez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leszek Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvatore Schillaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Gino Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes Fc Taurus got a freekick which was hit by Justo Fernandez. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octavio Urtsin in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Madureira saved Gonz FC from getting behind. The supporters of Gonz FC booed when Fc Taurus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gino Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Harman's late challenge caught a Fc Taurus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kurt Harman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Kurt Harman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octavio Urtsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Madureira having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Salvatore Schillaci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gonz FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Fc Taurus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gonz FC the free kick. After 93 played minutes Fc Taurus got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Giménez. Octavio Urtsin scored 3-5 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Madureira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Fc Taurus could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gonz FC throughout the match.
