Rodrigo Txeru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Cordarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Victor Gomez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MXL FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rodrigo Txeru came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by MXL FC's Victor Gomez. But to his dismay, Victor Gomez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 13 minutes into the match, Jimeno Ofelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Txeru. ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimeno Ofelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 17th minute of the game Rodrigo Tercero made a throw-in which Juan Sayvion played forward. Rodrigo Txeru came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by MXL FC's Victor Gomez. But to his dismay, Victor Gomez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Dalmacio Feo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Mauro Nevada put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Rodrigo Txeru. Jimeno Ofelio took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Txeru. Rodrigo Txeru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Rodrigo Txeru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sayvion in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Cordarin in the 44th minute of play forced ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's goalkeeper Rodrigo Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute Mauro Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's Rodrigo Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Gomez in the 54th minute of play. Jimeno Ofelio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodrigo Txeru came out and tried to block the shot, but Jimeno Ofelio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 55th minute. Jonathan Cordarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rodrigo Txeru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jonathan Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Sanson's late challenge caught a MXL FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Sanson helped the player get up and apologised. Luciano Sanson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Mauro Nevada put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Rodrigo Txeru. Rodrigo Txeru was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Victor Gomez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victor Gomez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. In the 80th minute, Amancio Martxot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Txeru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. The supporters of ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS booed when MXL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Ofelio in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Txeru saved ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS from getting behind. The supporters of MXL FC booed when ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Feo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Lluc was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jonathan Cordarin charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Cordarin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, MXL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Cordarin to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes, ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's Marcial Burutzagi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodrigo Rios came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS reached it. MXL FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
