Spectators: 7357 (Terracing: 6357, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) If Jonathan Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Rios came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Weed's Prudencio Luix. But to his dismay, Prudencio Luix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of MXL FC booed when Deportivo Weed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Dayam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimeno Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Victor Gomez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MXL FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 17 minutes of play, MXL FC's Juan Sayvion made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benicio Dorio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodrigo Rios made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Dalmacio Ipar sent off a good shot on target. After 22 played minutes MXL FC got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Caitano. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo Weed's Silvério Pinheiro tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Manuelo in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Nevada in the 27th minute of play forced Deportivo Weed's goalkeeper Benicio Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benicio Dorio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimeno Ofelio's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Jimeno Ofelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Dorio. Deportivo Weed's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimeno Ofelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After 34 minutes, Augusto Manuelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Weed and the MXL FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Augusto Manuelo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Prudencio Luix dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodrigo Rios, 3-3. With a little luck, MXL FC's Rodrigo Rios got control of the ball when Dalmacio Ipar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 3-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Gomez was the one to do the kick off. Deportivo Weed's Benicio Dorio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Weed from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the game, MXL FC's Juan Sayvion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benicio Dorio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Benicio Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Gomez, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Pablo Richie hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Ipar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Rios. MXL FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dalmacio Ipar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Gomez got free with Benicio Dorio in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augusto Manuelo took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Rios. Rodrigo Rios dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-5. After 73 minutes, Augusto Manuelo made it 6-5 with a short kick to the right side. MXL FC's Rodrigo Rios tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Victor Gomez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Dorio. Deportivo Weed's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Gomez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-6. In the 80th minute, Victor Gomez made a precise shot to the right of Benicio Dorio. Deportivo Weed's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-7. Benicio Dorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Nevada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, MXL FC's Gogo Caitano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gogo Caitano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MXL FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gogo Caitano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 85th minute, Gogo Caitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Ipar, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Jimeno Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Dorio having to interfere. Benicio Dorio was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Victor Gomez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victor Gomez really showed his touch with that goal: 6-8.
