El Espolón del Gallo's Ceferino Benat quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gervasio Steven, made in the 13th minute of the game. Wojciech Barycz succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Marcelo Barovero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Dalmai in the 20th minute. Marcelo Barovero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fulgencio Dalmai went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, El Espolón del Gallo's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Chrobak. In the 26th minute, Wojciech Barycz fired away a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in El Espolón del Gallo's zone, Ramon Locaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Barovero came out of the goal and Ramon Locaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The El Espolón del Gallo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Barovero should have stopped the shot. Wojciech Barycz took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Barovero. Marcelo Barovero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wojciech Barycz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Uclar FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Espolón del Gallo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
