The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Tanti's goal looked a bit too open when Salim De Clercq came free, but Erubiel Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Dantae kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Tanti's Saul Raymond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gunvald Barnholm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Mehran Ämrahov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saul Raymond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Saul Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tanti's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Raymond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunvald Barnholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Salim De Clercq made a precise shot to the right of Erubiel Rodas. Tanti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Mehran Ämrahov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Erubiel Rodas made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Kusko in the 36th minute of play forced Tanti's goalkeeper Erubiel Rodas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erubiel Rodas made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Mehran Ämrahov sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tanti's goalkeeper Erubiel Rodas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes in the game, Mehran Ämrahov fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Erubiel Rodas having to interfere. If Mehran Ämrahov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 53rd minute, Cipriano Leoiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 played minutes Tanti got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Sugoi. After a defensive mix-up in AztecGold's zone, Đặng Nghiêm-Minh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunvald Barnholm came out of the goal and Đặng Nghiêm-Minh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Mon during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st minute of the match Vicente Dantae shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erubiel Rodas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Đặng Nghiêm-Minh came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Tanti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Đặng Nghiêm-Minh couldn't finish the play. In the 74th match minute, Tanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Leoiar to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Rodas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salim De Clercq, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salim De Clercq scored 2-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erubiel Rodas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tanti's Erubiel Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehran Ämrahov in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to AztecGold getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Leandro Totakoxe hit a great ball. AztecGold's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
