Vladimiro Jerolds short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Anfilogino Gismondi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 17 minutes into the game, one of HACHITAS WC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pablo Gaizkine walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a little luck, Tijuana futbol Crew's Anfilogino Gismondi got control of the ball when Vladimiro Jerold tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, HACHITAS WC's Faustino Gilesindo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Guido Mista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Medero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Tijuana futbol Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Mattin to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Anfilogino Gismondi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 33 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Jerold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HACHITAS WC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tijuana futbol Crew the free kick. After a rather tough play, HACHITAS WC's Vladimiro Jerold got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Tijuana futbol Crew's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Mista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Tijuana futbol Crew's goalkeeper Anfilogino Gismondi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimiro Jerold. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The Tijuana futbol Crew fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Tijuana futbol Crew's Guido Mista looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximiliano Eguntsenti during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Maximiliano Eguntsenti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anfilogino Gismondi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Veremundo in the 91st minute of the match. HACHITAS WC were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Tijuana futbol Crew's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reynaldo Haritzeder took the corner. After taking down the ball on HACHITAS WC's corner Reynaldo Haritzeder fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anfilogino Gismondi quite easily take care of the ball. Anfilogino Gismondi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Jerold in the 97th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
