Hermosillo B.C.'s Jose Laffitte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Bergstedt in the 8th minute of play. Jose Laffitte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Dalmau, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The corner led MAPOGOS's Dionisio Dalmau to fire away a dangerous shot which Jose Laffitte despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jose Laffitte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Dalmau in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute Dionisio Dalmau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Laffitte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vahap Gümüşcüoğlu thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jose Laffitte, a very annoying self made goal in the 21st minute which led to 1-1. Jose Laffitte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Dalmau in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Ej. Hermosillo B.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tom Murillo hit a great ball. Orvar Alegren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Bernabe Orzaize made a huge save. Jose Laffitte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Abarca in the 37th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Allan Bergstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Laffitte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orvar Alegren to make the kick off. MAPOGOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ej. Hermosillo B.C. the free kick. Jose Laffitte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Abarca in the 59th minute. After 60 minutes, Orvar Alegren made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. MAPOGOS's Bernabe Orzaize tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Elano Donatello struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Bernabe Orzaize didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ej. Hermosillo B.C.. After 66 minutes, Orvar Alegren made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. MAPOGOS's Bernabe Orzaize tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orvar Alegren in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernabe Orzaize saved MAPOGOS from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Orvar Alegren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Orvar Alegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionisio Dalmau in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Laffitte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Emilio Abarca reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jose Laffitte. The goal made the score 4-2. Jose Laffitte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Bergstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Abarca got free with Jose Laffitte in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Tom Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolae Petru hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, MAPOGOS's Jose Laffitte threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dionisio Dalmau, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Ej. Hermosillo B.C. getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Vahap Gümüşcüoğlu hit a great ball. Jose Laffitte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dionisio Dalmau went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ej. Hermosillo B.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while MAPOGOS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
