Saul Raymond hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 1-0 became the score in the 3rd minute when Mauricio Ekaitz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Erubiel Rodas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Jing, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Ekaitz got free with Erubiel Rodas in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erubiel Rodas was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Mauricio Ekaitz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauricio Ekaitz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Erubiel Rodas was a little too slow when Bernabe Ladio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 20th minute, Mauricio Ekaitz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erubiel Rodas. The goal made the score 5-0. Tanti's Erubiel Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Ladio in the 22nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonatan Fraco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erubiel Rodas. That made the score 6-0 in the 24 minute of play. Jonas Frutos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Ekaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Erubiel Rodas made a huge save. Yu Jing might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erubiel Rodas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yu Jing ran back to his position shaking his head. Erubiel Rodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Ladio in the 31st minute of the match. Tanti's Erubiel Rodas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Tanti from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Mauricio Ekaitz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erubiel Rodas, 7-0. Tanti's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bernabe Ladio 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 8-0. After a rather tough play, Tanti's Saul Raymond got a free kick in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the game, Yu Jing recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erubiel Rodas. Yu Jing showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 9-0. 46 minutes into the match, Mauricio Ekaitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erubiel Rodas. Tanti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Ekaitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauricio Ekaitz made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Mauricio Ekaitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tanti's Erubiel Rodas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Hermosillo FC's Emiliano Victoro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erubiel Rodas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Erubiel Rodas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Ekaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Tanti defense, Yu Jing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erubiel Rodas. The Tanti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erubiel Rodas should have stopped the shot. When Chico Che came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Hermosillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chico Che couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Tanti's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Ekaitz came free, but Erubiel Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erubiel Rodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Che in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Corderro in the 72nd minute of play forced Tanti's goalkeeper Erubiel Rodas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erubiel Rodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Victoro in the 73rd minute of the match. Tanti's Erubiel Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Corderro in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Hermosillo FC's Mauricio Ekaitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erubiel Rodas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0. Hermosillo FC made a substitution. Alejandro Lope replaced Javier Quentin. Mauricio Ekaitz scored 16-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erubiel Rodas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erubiel Rodas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Ekaitz went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 17-0 was the resulting score. After 88 minutes of play, Hermosillo FC's Mauricio Ekaitz made it 18-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erubiel Rodas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erubiel Rodas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Ekaitz went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 19-0 was the resulting score. Erubiel Rodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Victoro in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Hermosillo FC were the better team. Hermosillo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
