Tijuana futbol Crew's Anfilogino Gismondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Gaufred in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tijuana futbol Crew's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benito Enaut was slow to take the kick. During this time Union Teporochos's players had a chance to rest. Felipe Gaitan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Union Teporochos's Felipe Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Rico in the 58th minute of play. Tijuana futbol Crew's Anfilogino Gismondi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Tijuana futbol Crew from getting a goal against them. Anfilogino Gismondi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Gaufred's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Union Teporochos! Felipe Gaitan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Gaizkine went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Elvio Lauro kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Marcelo Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Anfilogino Gismondi made a huge save. Anfilogino Gismondi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelo Pereira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 91 minute of play. Felipe Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Gaizkine in the 97th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Tijuana futbol Crew players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
