A collision led to Hermosillo FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Javier Quentin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvar Alegren in the 12th minute of play forced Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Samuel Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Hermosillo FC's Twan Sans dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 19 minutes Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonas Frutos who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th minute Elano Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Evarado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Alegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Ekaitz in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Laffitte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orvar Alegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Evarado having to interfere. In the 35th minute Bernabe Ladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Laffitte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game Orvar Alegren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s Elano Donatello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Evarado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 44 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Corderro notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s Jose Laffitte. Jose Laffitte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 48th minute Nicolae Petru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orvar Alegren made a kick off. Samuel Evarado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Alegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orvar Alegren struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Samuel Evarado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ej. Samuel Evarado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 68 minutes into the game, Gaston Gaur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hermosillo FC the free kick. After 68 played minutes Ej. Hermosillo B.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Gaur. 69 minutes into the match, Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Frutos came free, but Jose Laffitte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Laffitte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Ekaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A hard shot 72 in the game by Orvar Alegren from a close distance when the talented Samuel Evarado managed to make a qualified save. Hermosillo FC's players were relieved. Samuel Evarado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orvar Alegren went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado got control of the ball when Orvar Alegren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauricio Ekaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Laffitte having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Jonatan Fraco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hermosillo B.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
