In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Alexandros Ismael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 22 minutes Águilas Poblanas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ladislao Erramu who took care of the corner kick. In the 22nd match minute, Vikingos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Manuelo to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlo Ciolli in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastián Sosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Carlo Ciolli notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa. Sebastián Sosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Intxixu to maneuver through the defense. Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Beltran in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ciro Matai hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Abaurre got free with Alexandros Ismael in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Erramu came free, but Alexandros Ismael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislao Erramu was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Vikingos FC's Ladislao Erramu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandros Ismael was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ladislao Erramu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikingos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Erramu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandros Ismael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Tarmo Kaare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastián Sosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlo Ciolli in the 64th minute. After 69 minutes of play, Vikingos FC's Ladislao Erramu made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandros Ismael was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vikingos FC made a substitution. Luciano Lleir replaced Roque Vito. Vikingos FC's Per-Olof Vallmark was substituted for Victor Abaurre. Águilas Poblanas's Aslan Allo was substituted for Virgilio Txindoki. 77 minutes into the game, Vikingos FC's Peter Swan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandros Ismael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. After 79 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Aslan Allo. In the 81st minute, Peter Swan made a precise shot to the right of Alexandros Ismael. Águilas Poblanas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Alexandros Ismael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Swan, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Per-Olof Vallmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa got control of the ball when Aslan Allo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandros Ismael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Swan went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score.
