Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) St Neots's William Barrera got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Villanueva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selvin Viscarra having to interfere. Patricio Brizuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Selvin Viscarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes in the game, Gilberto Villanueva dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. William Barrera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Villalobos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Selvin Viscarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Villanueva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, William Barrera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St Neots's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Barrera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Selvin Viscarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Brizuela in the 34th minute of play. Patricio Brizuela took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Selvin Viscarra. Selvin Viscarra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gilberto Villanueva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Selvin Viscarra having to make a save. David Villalobos was a little too slow when William Barrera got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when William Barrera made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Longwell Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Lozano to maneuver through the defense. St Neots's Selvin Viscarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Villanueva in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Longwell Green's zone, Abraham Muñoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Villalobos came out of the goal and Abraham Muñoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute Gilberto Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selvin Viscarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selvin Viscarra made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Patricio Brizuela sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Abraham Muñoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. St Neots's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Muñoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Villalobos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the game, William Barrera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. David Villalobos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute Gilberto Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selvin Viscarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Abraham Muñoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. St Neots's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Muñoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Villalobos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. St Neots's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
