An unexpectedly hard shot by Selvin Duarte in the 4th minute of play forced Oakengates FC's goalkeeper Ramon Cerna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Botello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Barreto having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Fasters FC's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Toledano came free, but Lorenzo Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oakengates FC's Ramon Cerna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Bran in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Selvin Duarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramon Cerna. Oakengates FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Selvin Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Oakengates FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Gamero to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Oakengates FC's zone, Julio Bran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Cerna came out of the goal and Julio Bran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Fasters FC's goal looked a bit too open when Selvin Guzman came free, but Lorenzo Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selvin Guzman in the 28th minute of play forced Fasters FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Cerna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Bran's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Julio Bran was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 34 minutes into the match, Primitivo Toledano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo Barreto. Fasters FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primitivo Toledano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Lorenzo Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selvin Guzman, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Julio Bran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Bran's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Ramon Cerna skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Fasters FC booed when Oakengates FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Botello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Bran's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Ramon Cerna skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Selvin Guzman was the one to do the kick off. Selvin Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Barreto having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Primitivo Toledano got free with Lorenzo Barreto in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 61 minutes, Selvin Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fasters FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Selvin Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Bran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Cerna having to interfere. Edgardo Hurtado's late challenge caught a Fasters FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Hurtado helped the player get up and apologised. Edgardo Hurtado kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When Fasters FC's Julio Bran in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oakengates FC's goalie prevented a goal. Lorenzo Barreto made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Primitivo Toledano sent off a good shot on target. When Fasters FC's Julio Bran in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oakengates FC's goalie prevented a goal. Selvin Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rolando Leguizamon fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fasters FC's protests and gave Rolando Leguizamon a yellow card for diving instead. Rolando Leguizamon hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Primitivo Toledano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Barreto made a huge save. Fasters FC's Lorenzo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selvin Guzman in the 80th minute of play. If Julio Bran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Bran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ramon Cerna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Cerna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Bran in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Fasters FC got a corner. Oakengates FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Efren Dubon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ramon Cerna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Bran in the 99th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fasters FC had played much better football throughout.
