Leonel Valenzuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sedgley getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Yasir Peredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 49th minute of the match Jonathan Boianelli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yasir Peredes skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orlando Valenzuela to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Alexander Castillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sedgley's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Castillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Valenzuela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yasir Peredes having to make a save. In the 76th minute, Antonio Aguirrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejandro Bran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Yasir Peredes made a huge save. Sedgley's Yasir Peredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Valenzuela in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bingley United's zone, Ismael Cortez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Valenzuela came out of the goal and Ismael Cortez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Olmedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yasir Peredes having to interfere. In the 91st minute Ismael Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Valenzuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
