If Alexis Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldir Monzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Alonso Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Monzon in the 10th minute of play forced MILAN AC's goalkeeper Alonso Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Benjamín Calderon fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MILAN AC's protests and gave Benjamín Calderon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, MILAN AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamín Calderon to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match David Escalante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alonso Messias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Roberto Alferez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MILAN AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riseley the free kick. Alexis Rodriguez struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Alonso Messias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riseley. MILAN AC's Alonso Messias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save MILAN AC from getting a goal against them. Efren Berrueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deris Barreto in the 22nd minute of play. When Riseley's Esteban Villanueva in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MILAN AC's goalie prevented a goal. Alexis Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonso Messias having to interfere. Alonso Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Monzon in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Waldir Monzon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alonso Messias. Waldir Monzon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Riseley's Esteban Villanueva got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, MILAN AC's Alonso Messias got control of the ball when Alexis Rodriguez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Waldir Monzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riseley's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldir Monzon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonso Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldir Monzon to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Riseley got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Villanueva. Alexis Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MILAN AC's Deris Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Deris Barreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MILAN AC's goalkeeper Alonso Messias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute Deris Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efren Berrueta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Riseley getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Esteban Villanueva hit a great ball. Alonso Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Monzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Waldir Monzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexis Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonso Messias having to interfere. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Waldir Monzon sped through MILAN AC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alonso Messias. Alexis Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonso Messias having to interfere. Riseley walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
